Accelerated Start of New LKA Building's Groundbreaking

But fret not, the goal remains the same – complete construction by 2028. As of now, they've got the binding construction rights in the bag, and the land acquisition by the state-owned real estate bigshots is a done deal. The estimated cost? Oh, a cool several hundred million euros.
What's cookin' at the future LKA location in Barleben, Börde district, you ask? Seven hectares of prime land, just a stone's throw from Magdeburg, is all set to house 20,000 sqm of office space and 3,500 sqm of lab space. With room for over 700 employees, it's gonna be one bustling hub. Just remember, the current LKA is sprawled across various locations in Magdeburg and Schönebeck, Salzlandkreis.
