Consumer beverage giant, AB InBev, grants public relations firm, Publicis, administration over its U.S. and European advertising and media planning operations.

Advertising giant Publicis secures AB InBev's media buying and planning business for the US and Europe.

In a significant move, Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), the multinational drink and brewing company, has announced that it has awarded the media business for a period of five-and-a-half years to both Publicis Groupe and Dentsu.

The decision comes after AB InBev put its media accounts into review in September, with Publicis, Dentsu, and WPP being the three companies in contention for the coveted media business.

The partnership with Publicis Groupe will see the marketing giant take charge of AB InBev's business in multiple regions, including the U.S., Europe, and Asia. The company's extensive portfolio, which includes brands such as Budweiser, Corona, and Stella Artois, will now be under the strategic direction of Publicis Groupe.

Meanwhile, Dentsu will continue to handle AB InBev's business in Canada and Africa, as it has done previously. The Japanese advertising and public relations company has demonstrated its effectiveness in these regions and will continue its work with AB InBev to promote its brands.

While the exact details about the media account holders for other regions have not been disclosed, it is known that AB InBev has awarded a majority of the media business to Publicis Groupe. It remains unclear if AB InBev will be awarding the media business in any other regions to Dentsu or any other company.

In a related development, Benoit Garbe was appointed as the chief marketer in the U.S. by Anheuser-Busch InBev in September. Garbe's role will be crucial in overseeing the implementation of the new media strategies and ensuring the successful partnership between AB InBev and its new media partners.

As always, for detailed and up-to-date information about the media account holders, it is recommended to consult industry reports or direct statements from the company. This information may not be publicly available or may require access to specific industry databases or company releases.

The partnership between Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) and Publicis Groupe extends to multiple regions, such as the US, Europe, and Asia, where Publicis Groupe will strategically direct AB InBev's extensive finance-generating portfolio of brands like Budweiser, Corona, and Stella Artois. On the other hand, Dentsu continues to manage AB InBev's business in Canada and Africa, demonstrating effectiveness in those regions.
