Affordable fuel outlets, 2 newly established petrol stations kick off services

Porto, Portugal - Energy company Plenergy has expanded its reach in Portugal with the opening of two new fuel stations. These new locations are strategically placed in residential and bustling areas, allowing consumers access to top-tier fuels at prices at least 10% below the regional average. The convenient placement also helps reduce the environmental impact associated with traveling to distant areas to save on fuel costs.

With the addition of these two new stations, Plenergy now operates five units across four districts, including Porto, Guarda, Viana do Castelo, and Santarem. According to a report by NM, these openings mark the fifth addition to the country's Plenergy network, following successful launches in Guarda, Viana do Castelo, and Cartaxo.

The company expressed that these new openings are a significant step in their growth plan for the Portuguese market, aiming to establish at least 15 stations by the end of 2025. This targeted expansion mirrors Plenergy's rapid growth in the region, as evidenced by their aggressive rollout in Spain, where they opened 69 new locations in 2024, with plans for another 70 in 2025.

This expansion aligns with Plenergy's focus on strategic growth, as the company is actively increasing its presence in Portugal through new openings and a significant reorganization of its structure in the country in 2025. This move reflects the company's commitment to expanding its network in the region and capitalizing on the strong momentum that it has generated in the Portuguese market.

Plenergy's expansion in Portugal now extends to five fuel stations across four districts, including Porto, Guarda, Viana do Castelo, and Santarem, marking significant growth in the industry. With a strategic goal of establishing at least 15 stations by the end of 2025, this growth plan also includes a focus on the finance sector, as Plenergy aims to capitalize on the competitive pricing that allows consumers access to fuels at prices 10% below the regional average.
