AmCham China Welcomes New Vice Chairman
AmCham China, a nonprofit organisation representing US companies and individuals doing business in China, has announced a change in its leadership. Lester Ross, a seasoned lawyer with extensive experience in corporate leadership and international business, has been elected as Vice Chairman of the Board of Governors.
Ross brings a wealth of knowledge to his new role, with particular expertise in advising on China's regulations, regulatory compliance, and audit protocols. He has been consistently ranked as a leading lawyer in China, and his practice areas include mergers and acquisitions, foreign investment, financial services, project finance, energy and environmental law matters, and capital markets.
In addition to his legal expertise, Ross has a background that includes senior roles in major multinational companies and a focus on fostering US-China business relations. He has represented both foreign and local companies, making him well-equipped to guide AmCham China's work in promoting a fair and open business environment for US companies in China.
