Lights! Camera! Innovation! The 2025 NAB Show: A Globetrotters' Gathering in Sin City**

Sin City shimmered with the brilliance of innovation as the 2025 NAB Show roared to a close on April 9. With over 55,000 attendants from around the world, the vibrant event left no doubt that it remains the focal point for media and entertainment professionals.

Organizers have already set their sights on next year, announcing the 2026 NAB Show will take place April 18-22, 2026, with exhibits April 19-22, in none other than the glitzy heart of Nevada. Despite whispers about stricter U.S. borders, the NAB reveled that one out of four attendees (26%) hailed from beyond our shores. This year's show also saw an impressive increase in first-timers, with over half (53%) of participants boldly stepping into the NAB Show arena for the first time.

Karen Chupka, NAB's executive vice president and managing director of Global Conferences and Events, described the 2025 event as, "a platform for innovation, diverse voices, and forward-thinking conversations that will shape the future of storytelling and empower everyone to become a content creator." Key trends such as artificial intelligence, the creator economy, and the sports-tech fusion dominated the show's landscape.

The event boasted nearly 1,100 international exhibitors, including heavy hitters like Adobe, AWS, AT&T Business, Canon, Cisco, Dell Technologies, Fujifilm, Intel, Microsoft, Nikon, Quantum Corporation, Riedel, Ross Video, Sony, and Verizon Business. The expo floor sprawled across more than eight soccer fields, solidifying NAB Show's reputation as the world's go-to hub for media and entertainment pros.

David Ross, CEO of Ross Video, a 2025 exhibitor, raved, "This is our Super Bowl. You've got to come to NAB — it's the biggest trade show in our industry. This is our chance to show the full breadth of our portfolio to all our customers."

The star-studded gathering brought together luminaries from major corporations, including The Walt Disney Co., NBCUniversal, TikTok, and YouTube, to engage in thought-provoking discussions. Top speakers included Gotham Chopra, co-founder of Religion of Sports, Jody Gerson, chairman and CEO of Universal Music Publishing Group, Nick Khan, president and CEO of WWE, Paul "Triple H" Levesque, chief content officer of WWE, Dhar Mann, and Sean Atkins from Dhar Mann Studios, and Stephen A. Smith, television host of ESPN.

The five-day spectacle featured over 550 conference sessions and more than 1,000 speakers. The spotlight on fresh voices and new ideas showcased the organizers' dedication to fostering an environment catalyzing innovation and forward-thinking discourse.

The Sports Summit, an inaugural track, shone a light on the rapid fusion of sports, media, and technology, featuring insights from industry leaders like Portia Archer, CEO of the Women's Tennis Association. The Business of Entertainment, produced in partnership with The Ankler, tackled media dealmaking, content bundles, new advertising models, the state of production, and the intersection of Hollywood and the creator economy.

Sessions on AWS, AI, and sports streaming saw high attendance, reflecting the industry's growing thirst for knowledge on emerging technologies. The Creator Lab, a dedicated space for digital creators to engage with new tools and resources, added an extra layer of collaboration to the event.

In addition, the 2025 NAB Show marked a pivotal moment as the National Association of Broadcasters launched its Creator Council. Comprised of influential creators and thought leaders, this new advisory group will amplify creators' voices, ultimately guiding NAB's engagement with the creator economy.

The event served as the backdrop for several groundbreaking industry announcements, including Sony's unveiling of the HDC-F5500V and HDC-P50A, and Verizon's lauding of its range of innovative solutions, including a first-of-its-kind portable Private 5G Network framework designed for live broadcasters.
