Bad Salzuflen Authorities Join Forces to Combat Black Work, Ensure Tax Justice

Authorities in Bad Salzuflen recently joined forces to tackle black work, illegal employment, and ensure tax justice and public safety. The Main Customs Office Bielefeld led the joint control action, which revealed minor violations and prompted further checks.

The inter-authority cooperation was key to the successful execution of the control action. Officials from various departments, including the police, regulatory office, tax office, and municipal administration, worked together to inspect businesses in the city center.

During the inspections, minor violations were discovered. These included incorrect displays, fire protection deficiencies, inadequate labeling of escape routes, improper food storage, and blocked escape routes. Authorities also questioned 32 employees about their employment relationships.

Notably, 11 employees did not have identification documents, and further checks are pending. While no significant immigration law violations were initially found, a 27-year-old driver was caught driving without a license. Charges were filed against both the driver and the vehicle owner.

The authorities have pledged to continue their collaborative efforts to combat black work and illegal employment in Bad Salzuflen. Future joint operations are planned to enforce legal regulations, protect the local economy, consumers, and ensure public safety in the city center.
