Sparkasse Freiburg-Northern Breisgau Donates to Freiburger Turnerschaft von 1844
Sparkasse Freiburg-Northern Breisgau, a local bank with deep roots in the community, has announced a significant financial donation to Freiburger Turnerschaft von 1844 (FT 1844), one of Freiburg's largest sports and education clubs.
The donation, amounting to 4,000 euros, was presented by Daniel Zeiler, the CEO of Sparkasse, in September. The funds are intended to facilitate the implementation of innovative projects, including the sports primary school, the outdoor movement landscape, and the new FT sports park.
In May, Sparkasse Freiburg-Northern Breisgau and FT 1844 officially extended their sponsorship agreement. The signing ceremony was attended by Managing Directors Peter Gerspach and Michael Schmid from FT 1844, and Alexander Jacobs (Head of Board Staff) and Marc Winsheimer (Head of Communications) from Sparkasse. However, no new details about the terms of the sponsorship extension were provided.
Coach Markus Mulfinger and FT athlete Sabine Storz were present during the presentation. The donation was handed over to the track and field team of FT 1844.
