Binance Launches DoubleZero (2Z), Airdrops 35M Tokens to BNB Holders

Binance has introduced DoubleZero (2Z), its 48th HODLer Airdrop project. A total of 35 million tokens are being distributed to BNB holders, with the token set to list on October 2 at 13:00 UTC.

DoubleZero is a Solana-based infrastructure layer aiming to enhance network latency, reliability, and scalability. It is designed to deliver a high-speed global infrastructure network for blockchain and distributed systems. The project's circulating supply at launch is 3.47 billion tokens, with a fixed overall supply of 10 billion.

The 2Z token plays a crucial role in ecosystem operations. It is used for paying for bandwidth services, incentivizing infrastructure providers, funding security operations, and future staking and governance. DoubleZero's launch comes amidst competition from other infrastructure-layer tokens, but it has an advantage with validator adoption and integration with Solana.

Early analysts anticipate volatility in DoubleZero's token price due to airdrop recipients likely selling. The speculative starting range is $0.05-$0.10. Binance confirmed that DoubleZero (2Z) will list on October 2, offering spot trading across five pairs: USDT, USDC, BNB, FDUSD, and TRY.

DoubleZero (2Z) is set to launch on Binance, with 35 million tokens distributed to BNB holders. Its unique role in the ecosystem and integration with Solana could provide an advantage in the competitive infrastructure-layer token market. However, analysts expect initial price volatility due to airdrop recipients selling.
