Biysk Battles Cold Snap, 99% of Homes Heated as Repairs Continue

Biysk residents are feeling the chill as temperatures drop, but the city is working hard to ensure heating is available. As of October 3, 99% of residential buildings and 97% of social facilities have been connected to heating. However, some areas have experienced defects during startup work.

Biysk has made significant progress in connecting buildings to heating. Out of 2087 residential buildings, only 12 remain unconnected. Similarly, 226 out of 233 social facilities are now heated, with the remaining 3% being technical and utility spaces.

Despite these efforts, some heat networks and valves have shown defects. Emergency crews are working diligently to repair these issues at specific addresses on streets like Krasnogyardeiskaya, Mochishenskaya, Mitrofanova, and Valya Maximovaya. Managing organizations are also adjusting in-house heating and hot water systems to ensure optimal performance.

With temperatures forecasted to drop to -2°C in the Altai region, Biysk is taking all necessary steps to maintain heating in residential and social security facilities. Repairs are ongoing, and local weather services like Wetter.com provide detailed updates to help residents stay informed.
