BMW Landshut Plant Honours 11 Employees for 40 Years of Service

BMW Group's Landshut plant celebrated a significant milestone recently, honouring employees who have dedicated four decades of service to the company. The plant, a crucial supplier to BMW, MINI, Rolls-Royce, and BMW Motorrad models, is renowned for its resource-conscious production and commitment to sustainability.

Eleven employees were recognised for their remarkable 40-year careers at the plant. Among them were Harald Böhmer, Josef Ehrmaier, Jürgen Hillebrand, Rudolf Hofstetter, Johann Lurz, Roman Märkl, Stephan Mederer, Janette Memminger, Thomas Pöppel, Michael Vasas, and Karl-Heinz Vilser. Each received a badge of honour to commemorate their dedication.

The Landshut plant, with around 3,700 employees, is not just a vital production site but also a driving force behind innovation in the automotive industry. Its Technology Centre plays a pivotal role in developing future vehicle models. The plant's commitment to social responsibility, innovation, and attractiveness as an employer is well-recognised in the Landshut and Lower Bavaria region.
