The operation targeted five catering establishments and one taxi company. In one restaurant, three employees were in violation: one lacked a residence permit, two were unregistered with social security, and another was underpaid.
Investigations also began after a 68-year-old employee at another establishment was found without a valid residence permit. Further probes started when employees at a third location were found working without social security registration, and two did not have their ID. Additionally, an administrative offence procedure was initiated against an employee who refused an interview with the customs office.
The inspections revealed numerous labor law violations, leading to investigations against several employees and their employers. Authorities are working to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in the district.
