Last week, five bus drivers in Nizhny Novgorod faced consequences for disregarding traffic rules during their daily routes. According to GTRK "Nizhny Novgorod," these infractions were diverse and numerous.

One driver operating bus No. 18 was hit with a 1,000 ruble fine for opting to pass a stop without serving any passengers. A fellow driver from the same route received the same financial penalty for blatantly disregarding safety and using a mobile phone while at the wheel.

The driver of route No. 67 also received a hefty 2,000 ruble fine for the same offense - passing a stop without adhering to proper procedures. Meanwhile, drivers from routes No. 74 and No. 55 were stripped of their bonuses. The first was punished for ignoring the rules and passing a stop, while the second was reprimanded for skipping pick-ups and drop-offs at the designated stops.
