Celebration of Variety and Harmony
Last Saturday, the Integration Cup 2025 took place in the city of Euskirchen, serving as a vibrant symbol of unity, diversity, and lived integration. The event, which aims to set a sign for openness, respect, and togetherness, both on and off the field, was a resounding success.
Fifteen teams from various clubs, authorities, institutions, and initiatives participated in the tournament. The matches, each lasting 10 minutes, were characterised by fairness, friendliness, and healthy ambition. The final game was particularly exciting, drawing a large crowd and adding to the festive atmosphere.
Children had a wonderful time at the event, with activities such as the bouncy castle, face painting, and the popular Karlo-Klötzchen. The youngest guests received lovingly assembled surprises, sponsored by the Volksbank Euskirchen and EUGEBAU. Adults, too, enjoyed the open community feeling at the event.
The Integration Cup 2025 was proudly sponsored by Vogelsang IP, with gift bags being given to all teams as a token of appreciation. The gift bags were generously filled with donations from dm-drogerie markt, Procter & Gamble Manufacturing, and the Kreissparkasse Euskirchen.
Looking ahead, the main sponsor of the Integrationspokal 2026 in Euskirchen is the company Schoeller, which supports local sports clubs in the region including TTV Euskirchen. The Integration Cup 2026 is scheduled for September 5, 2026, and everyone is invited to be part of this inspiring event.
Mayor Sasha Reichelt kicked off the event with words emphasising the integrative power of sports. Salih Yavuz, chairman of the Integration Council, warmly welcomed the participants and led the tournament proceedings. The event also featured a diverse fringe program, including varied culinary options.
