Competition Among 22 Businesses in Kamensk-Uralsk to Claim Top Spot within the City
Prepare to celebrate as Kamensk-Uralsky's City Day approaches, for it will not only mark the anniversary of the city but also the announcement of the "Best Enterprise of the City" competition winners. This annual event, which recognises outstanding achievements in various sectors, will take place on July 17th at a ceremonial event.
A total of 22 enterprises participated in this year's competition, with participants being divided into four groups based on the number of employees. The first group, consisting of enterprises with over 1,500 employees, includes "RUSAL Kamensk-Uralsky", Sintz, Kumz, UPKB "Detail", and the city's branch of LLC "Engineering Construction Maintenance".
The second group, with 500 to 1,500 employees, comprises Kuzotcm, Kulkz, Tmk-Inox, Gazeks, and the same LLC. The third group, with regular participants in the competition, includes Demidovsky Zavod, LLC "GVURA", AO "Sinarskaya TEC", LLC "Kamenskaya Katanka", ZAO "Uralektromash", LLC "PTZ", LLC "SinaraPromService", and LLC "RUSAL Kremniy Ural". The fourth group consists of five organisations from the housing and utilities, transport, and communications sectors.
The competition commission, chaired by Alexei Gerasimov, evaluated participants based on financial indicators, profits, labour productivity, investment, tax volumes, average wages, funds for city initiatives, and spending on labour conditions improvement. The winners will receive the travelling banners or pennants with the gold-embroidered inscription "Best Enterprise of the City".
While the specific winners have yet to be announced, the contenders for victory in the city competition are the joint-stock companies "Vodokanala KU" and "Gorvneshblagoustroystvo", the managing companies "KUDEZ" and UK "Teplokompleks", and LLC "ZhKH-Ural".
