Condor Expands Short-Haul Network for Summer 2025, Adding Eight New Destinations

Condor is expanding its short-haul flights network, adding eight new city destinations for summer 2025. The move includes relocating aircraft to five European cities and increasing frequencies to popular spots. The new connections will partly serve as feeder flights for Condor's long-haul services.

Condor will operate the relocated aircraft from existing stations using its own crews. The expansion caters to the growing trend of 'bleisure' travel on short-haul flights. Beyond the summer 2025 schedule, Condor offers additional city trip destinations, including Panama City starting June 2025. It plans to increase flight frequencies to popular destinations like Málaga, Heraklion, and Rhodos. Meanwhile, Eurowings adds new cities like Bilbao, Korfu, Faro, Jerez de la Frontera, and Newcastle, primarily from Berlin Brandenburg airport.

Each of the new city connections will operate once daily, supplementing Condor's existing feeder flight offer for individual long-haul flights from Frankfurt. The new destinations include Frankfurt to Rome, Milan, Prague, Vienna, Zurich, Berlin, Hamburg, and Munich. However, the new city connections will only partially serve as feeder flights due to limited flight timings.

Condor's expansion includes relocating five aircraft to Zurich, Vienna, Prague, Milan, and Rome due to rising location costs in Germany. The move adds eight new city destinations to Condor's summer 2025 flight schedule, catering to the growing 'bleisure' travel trend. Lufthansa Group remains Condor's most important partner, providing over 300 feeder flights a day from over 100 cities for Condor's long-haul flights.
