Upcoming Bridge Assembly on Oyweg in Kalkar-Appeldorn: Road Closures and Detours to Expect
Get ready for some road disruptions, folks! The Regional Branch Office Niederrhein of Roadworks NRW is gearing up to assemble the prefab parts of a brand new bridge on the Oyweg in Kalkar-Appeldorn. Mark your calendars for June 20th to June 23rd!
From Friday, June 20th (10:00 AM) to Monday, June 23rd (5:00 AM), the B67 will be completely closed between the B57 "Xantener Straße" and the northwest entrance ramp K12 "Appeldorner Straße." Traffic heading towards Kalkar will be rerouted via the K12 "Appeldorner Straße" and the L41 "Rheinstraße" to the B57 "Xantener Straße," Roadworks NRW says. For those going Rees-bound, the detour will be via the B57 "Xantener Straße," L41 "Rheinstraße," and L8 "Rheinstraße" to the B67.
But worry not, a traffic light will be set up in the intersection area of the L41 "Rheinstraße"/K12 "Appeldorner Straße" to ensure traffic flow during the closure.
Watch out for further full closures for the new bridge assembly. The date for this next closure will be announced soon via a separate announcement, Roadworks NRW informs. Until then, don't forget that the Oyweg cannot be driven on at the height of the B67.
