Conway Point: New Affordable Homes in Liverpool Aim to Help Residents onto Property Ladder

Conway Point, a new residential development in Liverpool, is set to make a significant impact on the local housing scene. The Sovini Group, in collaboration with One Vision Housing, has completed this modern apartment block, aiming to help local residents onto the property ladder.

Located in the Wirral, a short walk from Birkenhead town centre, Conway Point consists of 46 contemporary apartments. The development is part of The Sovini Group's ambitious framework to create 1,000 affordable homes in the region over the next five years.

The apartments are built using a 'fabric first' approach, focusing on energy efficiency and reduced running costs. Each apartment is equipped with environmentally efficient specifications, contributing to The Sovini Group's commitment to achieving net zero carbon status. Ian Mitchell, Managing Director of housing at The Sovini Group, sees Conway Point as a step towards providing affordable housing solutions for local residents.

To aid potential homeowners, Conway Point offers a Rent to Buy scheme. Tenants pay rent set at 20% below market prices, allowing them to save for a deposit. This scheme is particularly important in the North West, where over 40% of the population finds housing costs too high, and 77% agree on the importance of social housing.

Conway Point, developed by One Vision Housing and The Sovini Group, is more than just a residential complex. It is a testament to their commitment to providing affordable housing solutions and reducing carbon footprint. With its energy-efficient design and Rent to Buy scheme, Conway Point is set to make a significant impact on the local housing market and the lives of its residents.
