Customs Seize Potency-Enhancing Honey Paste in Landshut
Customs officials in Landshut have made a significant seizure of illegal honey paste laced with the potency-enhancing drug Sildenafil. The Main Customs Office Landshut has confiscated a substantial amount of this unapproved medication, posing a high health risk to consumers.
Recently, 2,520 packets of 'Lotus Premium Honey' from Turkey were intercepted. This honey paste is illegal due to the undeclared Sildenafil content, which can cause serious health issues and dangerous interactions with other medications. The press spokeswoman for the Hauptzollamt Landshut, Elvira Enders-Beetschen, confirmed the seizure.
Criminal proceedings have begun against those involved in importing this illicit product. Consuming unapproved medications from uncertain sources can have severe consequences. The Main Customs Office Landshut is raising awareness about such dangers through their Zollinfotage training events.
