Delhi LPG, ATF Prices Surge After Monthly Review
Fuel prices in Delhi have seen a hike this month. Effective from 1st October 2023, the gold price of a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 15.50. Meanwhile, Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) prices have risen by over 3% in the capital.
The new gold price for a 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi stands at Rs 1,595.50. This increase comes after a previous reduction of Rs 51.50 on 1st September 2023. State-owned fuel retailers regularly review and revise ATF and cooking gas prices monthly, taking into account international fuel prices and foreign exchange rates.
Domestic LPG rates, however, remain unchanged at Rs 853 for a 14.2 kg cylinder, with the last price hike occurring in April 2023, when prices increased by Rs 50 per cylinder. The ATF price increase has also affected other major cities, with Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata seeing price hikes as well.
