This collaboration includes distribution services and warehousing, streamlining supply chains and improving efficiency. DFDS' CEO, Torben Carlsen, believes that nearshoring will drive supply chains closer to end markets, highlighting Turkey's strategic role as a manufacturing hub for Europe. The transport sector between Turkey and Europe is expected to grow by 14% up to 2028, reflecting the increasing demand for these services.

DFDS has invested in its fleet by ordering 100 Volvo electric trucks. This almost doubles its fleet of electric trucks, demonstrating the company's commitment to sustainable road transport.
