DICV Appoints Maruthachalam to Key Operations Role
DICV has appointed Maruthachalam to a key role in its operations. With a rich history at the company and extensive global experience, he aims to usher in a new era of commercial mobility. This comes as DICV reports significant growth in sales and revenue for 2023.
Maruthachalam first joined DICV in 2009, contributing to the successful launch of BharatBenz products in 2012. He returned in 2020 as head of supply chain management and logistics, bringing a deep understanding of process management honed through global experience. Most recently, he led the Procurement and Supply Chain Management organization at Daimler Truck.
In his new role at DICV, Maruthachalam will be part of the core leadership team. He will oversee operational workflows, enhance manufacturing processes, and drive efficiency in truck operating systems. Satyakam Arya, DICV's managing director and CEO, praised Maruthachalam's proven leadership in procurement, supply chain management, and quality, making him the ideal choice for this position.
Maruthachalam's appointment signals DICV's commitment to leveraging experienced leadership for continued growth. With a 39% increase in domestic sales and 21% growth in revenue in 2023, the company looks to Maruthachalam to build on this success and drive operational excellence.
