Dubai Airports Unveils 10-Year Plan to Make DXB, DWC World's Most Inclusive Airports by 2035
Dubai Airports has launched a 10-year strategy to make Dubai International (DXB) and Al Maktoum International (DWC) the world's most inclusive airports by 2035. The initiative, announced by Majed Al Joker, Chief Operating Officer, aims to ensure every journey is inclusive for all travelers.
The strategy builds on the earlier 'We All Meet the World Differently' initiative, highlighting accessibility as a cultural mindset. Current services include sensory-friendly lounges, wheelchair assistance, visual travel planners, and discreet Sunflower Lanyards. The long-term effort involves collaboration across Dubai's aviation ecosystem, including airlines, police, and service providers. A new awareness campaign, DXB for All, has been launched featuring real-life stories of guests with diverse needs navigating DXB. The initiative aligns with international best practices and the UAE's commitment to supporting People of Determination.
Dubai Airports aims to make every journey through DXB and DWC an inclusive experience for all travelers. The 10-year strategy focuses on enhancing the travel experience at every stage for all guests with dignity and ease. The name of the Emirati woman who contributed as a pioneer for this initiative remains unknown.
