Electricity costs in Almaty: who pays what?

The concert, held at the expansive Almaty Arena, attracted a crowd of 27,000 spectators, with around 7,000 foreign tourists from 35 countries adding to the vibrant mix. The economic impact of this spectacular event is estimated to be over 10 billion tenge (approximately $22.5 million), according to the tourism department.
Ticket prices for the event ranged from 40,000 to 180,000 tenge, with the total ticket sales contributing significantly to this figure. The concert also generated over 600 million tenge in tax revenue for the local government.
Foreign tourists, who stayed an average of 3.5 days, spent approximately $440 per day on accommodation, dining, transportation, excursions, and shopping. This amounted to over 5 billion tenge in total tourist expenditures.
Local businesses, particularly hotels, restaurants, transport companies, and stadium food courts, benefited significantly from the event. The food courts alone earned about 15 million tenge on the concert day.
Jennifer Lopez's team and the main tour director, Grigory Antropov, praised the concert organization and preparation, with Antropov even going as far as to say that the Almaty venue was the best among all. This sentiment was echoed by the akimat, who reported that the Almaty venue preparation was the best they had seen.
