Energy Advisory Hub Established in Mespelbrunn
The Verbraucher-Service Bayern has announced that it will be offering free energy consultations in the city of Mespelbrunn, starting from September 17, 2025. This move comes after the relocation of their Energy Advice Center from Heimbuchenthal to Mespelbrunn.
Interested parties can contact the Climate Protection Manager Andreas Hoos at the Aschaffenburg district administration by phone at 06021/394-7030 or by email at [email protected].
The Energy Advice Center is designed to help individuals make the optimal decision when replacing their heating system. It provides information on various topics, including saving electricity, heating and ventilation, thermal and heat protection in buildings, heating and control technology, renewable energies (such as solar energy or heat pumps), funding programs, changing energy suppliers, and heat cost allocation.
The Mespelbrunner Dorfgemeinschaftshaus, Hauptstraße 130, will be the new location for these energy advice sessions. If necessary, energy experts will visit homes for advice regarding local conditions or measurements.
An appointment for energy advice lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. The advice sessions will be held from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The first energy advice day at the new location will be on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, and will occur on the third Wednesday of every month.
Appointments require prior registration and can be made through the Climate Protection Management of the Aschaffenburg district or the nationwide toll-free hotline. It's important to note that the homeowner's share for on-site advice is 40 euros, which is covered by the district authority, making the entire advice offer free for district citizens.
The Energy Advice Center offers independent and competent tips on all questions related to energy saving. The funding for this service comes from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection.
There are other energy advice centers in Bessenbach, Kahl am Main, Laufach, Mömbris, and Schöllkrippen in the district. Further information and all appointments can be found at www.klimaschutz-ab.de. The Energy Advice Center Heimbuchenthal has relocated to Mespelbrunn to better serve the community and help residents make informed decisions about their energy usage.
