In a series of strategic moves, Germany has bolstered its commitment to European cooperation by joining several key organizations.

Firstly, Germany has become a member of the Extended Partial Agreement on the Register of Damage Caused by the Aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. This agreement, which is member-based, aims to document the damage inflicted by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

In addition, Germany is a member of the European Centre for Modern Languages, an organization dedicated to promoting language learning and teaching across Europe.

Germany's membership in the Eurimages Fund, a support fund for co-productions of European cinematographic and audiovisual works, further underscores its commitment to cultural collaboration.

The Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) is another organization that Germany has joined. The CEB provides loans for infrastructure, economic development, and social projects in its member states.

Looking back to 2025, Germany announced its intent to ratify a new partial agreement of the Council of Europe, demonstrating its ongoing support for the organization's initiatives.

Germany's membership in the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, the European Audiovisual Observatory, the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines, the European Commission for Democracy through Law (Venice Commission), and the Group of States against Corruption (GRECO) are testament to its broad-ranging involvement in European affairs.

These memberships not only reflect Germany's active role in European cooperation but also its dedication to fostering cultural, economic, and social development across the continent.
