Europe's most decorated football club will transition into real estate development.

Real Madrid, the famed football club, is venturing into real estate development. They're planning to build an innovative district on a plot previously used for sports, according to Vladimir Gorodenker, founder and CEO of Atlas Development Group, who made the announcement on his Telegram channel.

Back in 1963, a standalone sports complex was built for Real Madrid on the outskirts of Madrid. However, by 2000, this area became part of the city center, forcing the club to sell the land due to financial struggles. In return, Real received a new plot located outside the city. Since 2005, the team has been training there at City Real Madrid.

Now, the club is set to take ownership of that land. According to EFE news agency, the 85,000 square meters will be reclassified as tertiary development land. This location will transform into Madrid's Innovation District - a space for companies, researchers, and startups to work, innovate, and share knowledge. This development will aid in progressing new projects and exchanging ideas.

Meanwhile, in North Korea, a surprising development has arisen. They've built the first resort city - "Wonsan-Kalma". However, there's a catch - it's situated next to a ballistic missile testing range. Wow, talk about mixing business with pleasure! 🥳💣🎃

  • North Korea has created their first resort city, "Wonsan-Kalma". Yes, you heard it right; this beach city is strategically located next to a military base and a ballistic missile testing site.

Real Madrid, having faced financial struggles in the past that led to the sale of their sports complex land, is now reclaiming ownership of the 85,000 square meters previously used for training. This (previously used) land will be reclassified as tertiary development land, transforming into Madrid's Innovation District, fostering companies, researchers, and startups in the fields of business, real estate, finance, and investing. In a stark contrast, North Korea's Wonsan-Kalma resort city sits bordering a ballistic missile testing range - a unique blend of leisure and military activities.
