Evelyn Palla has taken over as the new CEO of Deutsche Bahn, succeeding Richard Lutz after his over three decades of service, including his tenure as CEO from 2017 to 2025. Palla began her first day with a clear vision to enhance the railway customer experience.

DB Supervisory Board Chairman Werner Gatzer expressed confidence in Palla's leadership and the quick implementation of the customer satisfaction agenda. Palla herself thanked her predecessor Richard Lutz for his service, looking forward to building on his leadership qualities.
