FKS Faces Serious Wage Theft Allegations in EMPACT Action Days Raids
FKS, a prominent employer, faces serious allegations. Authorities suspect eight cases of wage theft and misreporting. A massive inspection operation, involving 73 officers, was launched during the 2021 EMPACT Action Days in Krefeld/Mönchengladbach.
The investigation, led by law enforcement agencies, uncovered four suspected cases in Mönchengladbach's market hall alone. During week 39 of what is today, the Main Customs Office Krefeld joined the EMPACT Action Days to tackle human trafficking and illegal employment. A total of 31 inspections were conducted, and 128 personal records were seized. The findings will be evaluated, and suspected cases will be pursued accordingly.
FKS maintains its commitment to lawful employment and fair wages. The company is cooperating with authorities to address the suspected violations. Further action will be taken based on the evaluation of the inspection results.
