Frankfurt (Oder) Dog Trainer Exposed for Fraudulent Benefits Claim
A local dog trainer in Frankfurt (Oder) has been exposed for fraudulently claiming social security benefits. The Main Customs Office, acting on an anonymous tip, discovered that she had earned over 32,000 EUR in 2021/2022 through various sources, including consulting, selling dog food, dog photoshoots, and handmade dog supplies, while falsely declaring a monthly income of only 100 EUR.
The trainer, who has not been named publicly, was found to have wrongfully received nearly 15,280 EUR in social security benefits. The District Court Frankfurt (Oder) has since sentenced her to 120 daily fines of 40 EUR each, totalling 4,800 EUR. Additionally, the court ordered the seizure of the illegally gained value. Investigations revealed that her total income in 2021/2022 was significantly higher than what she had declared for her training activities.
The dog trainer's fraudulent activities have been brought to light, resulting in a court sentence and the seizure of her ill-gotten gains. This serves as a reminder of the importance of honest disclosure when it comes to income and social security benefits.
