Funding company Nera Capital surpasses $1 billion in Estimated Recovery Value (ERV)

Nera Capital, a litigation finance specialist headquartered in Dublin with operations in Manchester, the US, and the Netherlands, has reached a significant milestone. The company has surpassed $100m in cumulative repayments to its investors, just months after achieving the same milestone in total revenue across its companies.

With an expected realization value (ERV) of over $1bn (£730m), Nera Capital has built a resilient and scalable model in litigation finance. The company has financed law firm claims in various areas, including financial mis-selling, cartel damages, and mass consumer redress.

Aisling Byrne, co-founder and director of Nera Capital, emphasised the rigorous approach to case selection, technology-enabled risk management, and commitment to access to justice at Nera Capital. She stated that the company's investors and claimant partners benefit from this uniquely resilient and scalable model.

The financial success of Nera Capital in the field of litigation finance continues to be a focus of the company. Repayments to investors are forecasted to surpass $150m this quarter.
