Google Ads Editor v2.2 Arrives with 12 New Features and One Removal
Google Ads Editor v2.2 has arrived, packed with 12 new features and one removal. This update brings significant changes to targeting, shopping settings, and campaign support.
One of the key updates is the replacement of the ad group 'Targeting expansion' setting slider with a checkbox for optimized targeting. Additionally, global offers in shopping settings now allow for an optional country of sale and feed label support.
Video campaigns see improvements too, with shopping support for all sub-types except Outstream and Audio. Network logs are now provided in an easy-to-understand format for API errors and operation details. Furthermore, target frequency is fully supported for video campaigns in Ads Editor.
Gmail display campaigns support has been removed in Ads Editor v2.2. Asset library enhancements include the ability to add, remove, and rename images, assign images to folders, and integrate asset library features into the image picker. More recommendation types are supported, including lead form ads for generating more leads.
Ad schedules for campaigns and certain ad assets can now be visually edited. The Editor also checks for out-of-sync account changes and notifies users to sync them.
