IndusLaw Expands Partner Team with New Recruits

IndusLaw, now known as CMS INDUSLAW, has announced the expansion of its partner team with the addition of several experienced lawyers from J Sagar Associates (JSA). The new recruits, including Shantanu Jindel, Shweta Gupta, Ashutosh Narang, Amrit Mehta, and Maneesha Kongovi, are expected to strengthen the firm's corporate practice.

Shantanu Jindel, a seasoned corporate lawyer with a background in corporate law, has joined IndusLaw as a partner in Mumbai. His focus is on the pharmaceutical and medical devices sectors, and he brings expertise in advising on mergers and acquisitions and private equity investments. Shweta Gupta, another principal associate, has also joined IndusLaw from JSA.

The team joining IndusLaw from JSA includes Amrit Mehta, who has joined as a partner in Mumbai, and Maneesha Kongovi, who has joined as a partner in Bengaluru. Ashutosh Narang, who has joined IndusLaw as a partner in Mumbai, is also part of this team.

The addition of these new partners is expected to bring diverse expertise to IndusLaw. Amrita Tonk, who has returned to the firm, has joined the firm's Employment/Investigations and ABAC practice. She will be part of the teams in Bengaluru and other offices. Vinit Patwari, who has joined as a Partner in the Transactions practice based in the Mumbai office, brings extensive experience in M&A, private equity, strategic investments, and corporate advisory with notable clients across various sectors.

With these new recruits, the number of partners at IndusLaw has increased to 61 nationally. The expansion of IndusLaw's partner team is expected to further strengthen the firm's corporate practice and provide clients with even more comprehensive legal services.
