In a significant development, Larisa Ivleva has been appointed as the new leader of LLC "Management Company 'Yuzhuralzoloto Group of Companies'" following the removal of Konstantin Strukov. The change comes after Strukov was accused of illegal activities, and Ivleva has taken over to oversee the company's management during this transition.
The day before the announcement, it was reported that the confiscated shares in the "Yuzhuralzoloto" group of companies would be sold to a new owner. According to Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, this sale will indeed take place. However, the confiscated companies are currently registered in the name of Strukov's daughter, Alexandra Strukova, a Swiss citizen, and trusted individuals.
Strukov's business income, it is alleged, has been used for the acquisition of luxury items such as real estate, cars, yachts, and other expensive assets abroad. The FSB and investigators conducted searches in the offices of YGK and at Strukov's workplace in early July.
The court removed Strukov from his position as president of MC YGK on July 14, and the changes were made to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities (EGRUL) on July 16. After the confiscation of Strukov's assets, the state became the sole founder of LLC "MC YGK" with a 100% share.
Emergency situations have been occurring due to the lack of funds for employee salaries and equipment maintenance in YGK's organizations. Despite the income of YGK's organizations, it is not being used to improve employee salaries or equipment safety, according to a source.
Larisa Ivleva, who has been working in the organizations of the "Yuzhuralzoloto" holding since 1993, has been appointed as the acting president of LLC "MC YGK". Siluanov noted that the aim is to ensure that the confiscated businesses continue to work and find a new owner. The sale of the confiscated companies is intended to help stabilize the operations and secure a bright future for the company.
