Henkel Unveils BONDERITE M-CR 1132 M AERO Pen for Aircraft Touch-ups
Henkel Adhesive Technologies has unveiled BONDERITE M-CR 1132 M AERO Pen, an innovative solution for touch-up maintenance on aircraft surfaces. The no-rinse formula offers superior corrosion protection on bare aluminium substrates.
The pen delivers a controlled application of dry-in-place chromate conversion coating, ideal for hard-to-reach areas. It minimises material waste and reduces labour time, enhancing overall efficiency. Moreover, it reduces worker exposure to chromating solutions, ensuring a safer working environment.
For optimal precision in tight spaces, an optional extended slim tip is available. This tip allows for penetration and application in small areas, including fastener holes as small as 3/16-inch. This innovation follows Henkel's introduction of the Bonderite C-AK DW 805 AERO Cleaner in October 2025, further demonstrating their commitment to improving aerospace maintenance.
