Titan Heavy Machinery Industrial Platform Up for Public Auction in Bucharest

The Titan Heavy Machinery industrial platform in Bucharest's District 3 is set to be auctioned off on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the headquarters of the judicial administrator CITR. This valuable asset, which was previously known as IMUAB, is part of the former FAUR industrial area and has a rich history in producing equipment and industrial components, particularly for the rubber processing industry.

The auction is in accordance with legal provisions and the main objective is to properly capitalize the company's assets, serving the interests of the creditors. The starting price for the auction is set at EUR 16 million.

The assets up for grabs include a 47,286 sqm plot of land, industrial halls with a total area of 34,870 sqm, an office building (Basement + Ground Floor + 5 Floors + terrace) with a usable area of 2,717 sqm, and vacant land with development potential.

Dragos Ghită, Project Manager at CITR, stated that the Titan Heavy Machinery platform is a valuable asset, suitable for industrial/logistics investments or sustainable real estate developments, due to its excellent positioning and high versatility. The urban and economic potential of the area is a significant consideration in the auction.

The office building has a total of 6 floors and a terrace, offering ample space for various business operations. The industrial halls provide a substantial area for manufacturing and storage purposes. The vacant land offers opportunities for future development projects.

The Titan Heavy Machinery platform has been a staple in the Bucharest industrial landscape for many years, and its privatization in the 1990s marked a new era for the company. After privatization, the company produced equipment and industrial components, especially for the rubber processing industry.

Interested parties are encouraged to attend the auction at the headquarters of the judicial administrator CITR on August 13, 2025, to bid on this valuable asset.
