Installing 49 traffic cameras on roads in Yekaterinburg to eliminate traffic jams. Locations provided.
In the upcoming weeks, traffic cameras will be deployed at 49 strategic locations in Yekaterinburg to combat traffic congestion and apprehend violators of traffic rules. The city administration is currently seeking a contractor to install these cameras.

According to local reports, the installation of these traffic cameras is expected to cost 78 million rubles, and the cameras will be connected by October 15th. The majority of the cameras will be installed on Prospect Lenina and at the exits from Academic.
In a separate development, the Ministry of Transport plans to spend half a billion rubles monitoring traffic rule violators on roads across Sverdlovsk Oblast. The implementation of the intelligent transportation system in Yekaterinburg over the next three years will receive more than 160 million rubles. Efforts to launch this system have been ongoing for over a decade.
