In a significant move to expand its branded, traceable egg offerings and strengthen its technology and supply chain infrastructure, Eggoz (Nupa Technologies Private Limited) has successfully raised $20 million in its Series C fundraise.

The transaction was led by VERTICES PARTNERS, with VikrantAnand (Partner), Shagun Rathi Mittal (Senior Associate), Hemant Srivastava, and Anna Liji Thomas leading the team. VivekPareek and Sanika Gadgil were also part of the transaction team.

Gaja Capital, a leading Indian private equity firm, led the Series C round. Existing investors, including IvyCap Ventures, Rebright Partners, Avaana Capital, Nabventures, Merisis Opportunities Fund, Arvind Thakur, S. Ramadorai, Artek Chemicals, and Blue Dot Capital, also participated in the round.

Eggoz, founded in 2017 by Abhishek Negi, Uttam Kumar, and Aditya Singh, aims to make a meaningful impact on protein consumption while supporting rural egg farmers. The company prides itself on providing high-quality, farm-fresh eggs, with hens that are fed a 100% herbal diet, ensuring the eggs are free from chemicals and antibiotics.

Eggoz's mission extends beyond just providing nutritious eggs; the company ensures its products contribute positively to both health and community welfare. The funds raised will be used to expand Eggoz's reach in new markets and further develop its technology and supply chain infrastructure.

Saraf and Partners represented lead investor Gaja Capital in the fundraise. VinayakBurman, Founder and Managing Partner at VERTICES PARTNERS, provided strategic inputs during the fundraising process.

With this successful fundraise, Eggoz continues to grow and make strides in the egg industry, offering consumers a healthier, more sustainable, and ethically-produced egg option.
