Janata Bank Participates in Tarunner Utsab 2025 to Honour National Mass Uprising Day

On August 5, 2025, Janata Bank PLC took part in Tarunner Utsab 2025, a vibrant youth festival held to commemorate National Mass Uprising Day. The event, organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and coordinated by the Financial Institutions Division of the Government of Bangladesh, was a demonstration of unity among financial institutions and a collective show of respect for the National Mass Uprising Day.

The purpose of Janata Bank’s participation was to honour the historical significance of National Mass Uprising Day, a day that marks a major democratic movement in Bangladesh’s history. Md Mozibur Rahman, Managing Director of Janata Bank, led a team of executives, officers, and staff in the event. The team assembled in front of the Novo Theatre on Bijoy Sarani and proceeded in a rally to Manik Mia Avenue, where the festival was underway.
