JoJo Openly Expresses Herself on her Latest Release 'NGL' EP

As a seasoned musician, JoJo Levesque has experienced a rebirth in her career over the past decade. She's now an independent artist with her own Clover Music label, churning out three albums in just two years. In 2024, JoJo added another feather to her cap with the release of her memoir, Over the Influence. The 34-year-old singer recently unveiled her first EP in a decade titled NGL.

Fans got a sneak peek into the EP in the fall with singles “Porcelain” and “Too Much to Say”. With NGL, JoJo returns to her R&B roots, much like she did in her 2021 album Trying Not to Think About It. The EP features tracks like "Nobody" and "One Last Time", both laced with funk elements, as well as "Ready to Love" and "Start Over", which exude a sultry vibe.

JoJo's newfound independence as an artist has allowed her to grow and apply lessons from her career and life. Speaking to People, she shared, "It's nice to not put so much pressure on it...that's something I'm definitely committed to: continuing to grow and evolve."

As she takes NGL on tour across the US starting February 22, 2025 in Nashville, the artist is excited to share this fresh chapter of her life with fans.
