Josh Silverman Joins Paramount Skydance as President of Global Products and Experiences
Josh Silverman is set to join Paramount Skydance as President of Global Products and Experiences, starting October 6, 2025. He will oversee a wide range of areas, including consumer products, live experiences, publishing, partnerships, and ecommerce.
Silverman brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Most recently, he served as executive VP and chief franchise officer at Mattel, where he led consumer product partnerships and retail tie-ins for the 'Barbie' movie and other initiatives. Before Mattel, Silverman held senior leadership roles at Marvel Entertainment and Disney.
At Paramount Skydance, Silverman will report to president Jeff Shell. He will work closely with leaders of brands like Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon to create innovative ways to bring stories to life. Silverman's appointment comes as Pam Kaufman, the current president and CEO of international markets, global consumer products and experiences, is exiting her role.
Silverman's hire is part of a series of recent appointments at Paramount Skydance. Makan Delrahim joined as chief legal officer, previously serving as assistant attorney general overseeing the U.S. Department of Justice's Antitrust Division. Dane Glasgow was hired as chief product officer, bringing experience from Meta's Google. Silverman's expertise in consumer products and brand partnerships is expected to significantly contribute to Paramount Skydance's global strategy.
