KBC Greenlit for Que Vo Expansion 2 Industrial Park in Bac Ninh
Kinh Bac City Development Holding Corporation (KBC) has received the green light to construct the Que Vo Expansion 2 Industrial Park in Bac Ninh. The project, valued at nearly VND1.88 trillion ($71.2 million), is set to commence construction in early 2026.
The Bac Ninh province People's Committee approved the 1/2000 zoning plan for the project on August 21, 2023. The industrial park will span over 140.3 hectares in Bong Lai and Phuong Lieu wards and Chi Lang commune, located approximately 600 meters west of the existing Que Vo Industrial Park.
KBC plans to develop Que Vo Expansion 2 as a multi-sector, high-tech industrial park. It aims to attract investments in electronics, electronic components, and precision engineering. The company targets to begin construction in Q1/2026, with completion scheduled for Q4/2029, and commercial operations set to start in Q2/2028.
KBC's shares closed at VND36,900 ($1.4) per share on the HoSE on Monday. The company's financial performance in the first half of 2025 was robust, with net revenue and net profit increasing by 253% and 6.4-fold year-on-year, respectively. This upcoming industrial park will be KBC's fourth in Bac Ninh, following Que Vo, Que Vo Expansion, and Nam Son-Hap Linh.
The Que Vo Expansion 2 Industrial Park, once completed, is expected to boost Bac Ninh's industrial landscape and contribute to the province's economic growth. KBC's continued investment in the region reflects the province's attractiveness for industrial development.
