Krasnodar Airport's scheduled reopening slated for 2026.

The Krasnodar International Airport, located in the city of Krasnodar, Russia, is set to make a significant leap in its operations. According to an announcement made by the airport's managing director, Dmitry Kirichenko, the airport plans to resume 24/7 operations by 2026.

The airport, which has been in operation since 2022, has already shown promising growth. By the end of 2025, it is expected to reach a passenger traffic of at least 500,000 people. This growth is a testament to the airport's resilience, as it has been maintained in working condition for three years, despite the closure of airspace since 2022.

The first flight at the Krasnodar International Airport was operated by Aeroflot from Moscow. Since then, the airport has been steadily expanding its operations. Dmitry Kirichenko noted that next year, the airport will begin expanding its flight destinations.

The news of the airport's planned 24/7 operation was reported by TASS. Kirichenko also suggested that the airport may switch to a 24-hour schedule in the future, further enhancing its capacity to serve passengers.

Today, the airport welcomed its first flight after the reopening of airspace. This marks a significant milestone in the airport's journey towards becoming a major hub for international flights in the region.

As the Krasnodar International Airport continues to grow, it is poised to play a crucial role in connecting the city of Krasnodar with the rest of the world. With its planned 24/7 operations and expanded international flight destinations, the airport is set to make travel more convenient and accessible for its passengers.
