Lawyer George Varghese, a previous partner at CAM, has taken on a new role as a litigation partner at TLH Advocates.
TLH Advocates & Solicitors, a leading law firm based in India, has announced the addition of George Varghese as a Partner in their Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice. Varghese, a seasoned dispute resolution expert, joins the firm's Hyderabad office after a seven-year tenure as a Partner at Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM).
With over a decade of experience, Varghese has advised a diverse clientele, including multinational corporations, public sector lenders, government ministries, and private equity funds. His expertise lies in pre-dispute risk management, strategic advisory, and representation in complex disputes before Indian courts and both international and domestic arbitration tribunals.
Varghese's impressive track record includes managing high-stakes litigation and arbitration across sectors such as infrastructure, energy, finance, insolvency, white-collar crime, and environmental law. He is renowned for his ability to handle the entire lifecycle of disputes for major Indian and global businesses, demonstrating strong litigation acumen and leadership in high-value matters.
Mrinalini Reddy, CEO of TLH Advocates & Solicitors, expressed her delight at Varghese joining the firm, stating that his addition aligns with TLH’s goal to provide practical, strategic, and business-oriented solutions to clients. This is the second partner onboarding since TLH Advocates & Solicitors rebranded from Tatva Legal.
Last month, Alluri Sriharinadh Raju was also onboarded as a Litigation Partner at TLH's Vijayawada office. The hire marks a significant expansion of TLH’s disputes practice, especially following the firm’s recent rebranding.
