Major Inspection in Brandenburg Logistics Uncovers 43 Labor Law Violations
Authorities in Brandenburg conducted a major inspection in the logistics sector, uncovering numerous labor law violations. The operation, which took place in the districts of Oberhavel and Potsdam-Mittelmark, involved 60 employees from the Financial Control of Black Work and three from cooperation authorities.
The inspections targeted the freight forwarding, transport, and logistics industries. A total of 202 people were checked, and business records were scrutinized. The results revealed 43 cases of labor law violations, including minimum wage violations, performance and social security fraud, and illegal employment of foreigners.
Among the findings, an investigation into a tip about illegal employment at a logistics company in Oberhavel is ongoing. However, the name of the suspected logistics company has not been disclosed yet.
