The mobile service proposed by Monzo would be a digital SIM that connects to a mobile network without a physical SIM card.

Monzo's entry into the mobile market could potentially disrupt the current landscape, offering competitive pricing and a customer-centric digital experience. As an MVNO, Monzo would lease network capacity from major UK operators, such as EE, Vodafone, Three, or O2, without building costly infrastructure. This setup could enable Monzo to undercut traditional networks on price.
