Mohegan Sun appoints Kimberly Simone as the new Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Hey there! Guess what? Mohegan Sun just made a splash with their latest staffing decision! On Monday, they announced that Kimberly Simone will be taking the helm as their Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
Simone has been a key player in Mohegan Sun's world since 2023, when she joined as Director of Sales. With almost two decades under her belt in marketing and comprehensive sales, particularly within the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) sector, she's about to take things to the next level.
Her new role involves leading strategic initiatives for venues like the Earth Expo & Convention Center, the Sky Convention Center, and other spots at Mohegan Sun and the Mohegan Sun Golf Club. Exciting times, huh?

Since Simone hopped aboard at Mohegan Sun, she's definitely made her presence felt. She's been instrumental in increasing convention sales and elevating property-wide hospitality. Looking forward, she'll continue to tackle convention sales and coordinate bookings for venues like the Earth Expo & Convention Center, which houses the 125,000 Earth Expo.
Simone's past involves stints as the Vice President of Membership and the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the CT River Valley chapter of Meeting Professionals International. She also served on boards for the New York and New England chapters of Professional Convention Management Association and the Greater New York Chapter of Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International.
Currently, she's a part of the Connecticut Convention & Sports Bureau Board's executive committee. Prior to Mohegan Sun, Simone served as Director of Sales at Saybrook Point Resort & Marina in Old Saybrook, Connecticut, and Director of Resort Sales at Foxwoods Casino Resort from 2019 to 2021. Before that, she was the National Sales Manager for Foxwoods.
