Münster Launches Energy Consulting Seminars to Cut CO2 and Costs
Münster's Climate Department and Consumer Center are teaming up to host energy consulting seminars, aiming to help residents reduce fuel consumption, lower CO2 emissions, and save costs. This initiative is part of the city's broader effort to become a climate city.
The sessions, held in collaboration with the nexus Institut, will focus on reducing CO2 emissions for heating buildings in Münster. Landlords, tenants, and homeowners are all welcome to attend. The first session is on October 7, with appointments available from 9 am to 5 pm via the city's website. Walk-ins are also welcome on October 8 from 2 pm to 5 pm at the House of Sustainability in Münster. It's worth noting that landlords are legally required to contribute to heating costs, with the amount varying based on the building's energy efficiency.
Münster's energy advice sessions are open to all, providing an opportunity to learn about reducing CO2 emissions and saving on heating costs. The next sessions are on October 7 and 8, with advance appointments available online and walk-ins welcome on October 8.
