Narendra Modi's 75th Birthday: Upcoming Investments and Scheduled Visits for the Prime Minister This Year

In a significant move to promote investment, employment, and growth in the textile sector, the Indian government has announced plans to set up eight PM MITRA (Integrated Textile Parks) across various states. The first of these parks will be established in Madhya Pradesh, with Dhar district set to host the largest such park involving global brands and government incentives.

The PM MITRA parks are inspired by the Prime Minister's 5F vision and are expected to create 1,00,000 jobs directly and 2,00,000 jobs indirectly upon completion. The scheme, overseen by the Union Ministry of Textiles, will provide infrastructure facilities and subsidies to companies, with the cost to be shared by the State and central governments.

As of September 15, 91 companies have been approved to invest in the PM MITRA park in Madhya Pradesh, with proposals worth Rs 20,000 crore already secured. This includes a remarkable Rs 23,000 crore worth of investment proposals for the PM MITRA park in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh.

Apart from the PM MITRA parks, the Indian government is also focusing on the health and empowerment of women. The Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyan (Healthy Woman Empowered Family Campaign) will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. This campaign aims to improve the health and well-being of women through awareness camps, health screenings, blood donations, reviews of nutrition standards, and tests for endemic diseases such as tuberculosis and conditions like anaemia.

Prime Minister Modi's birthday was marked by a significant event last year when he celebrated by clicking photos of cheetahs imported to Kuno national park in Madhya Pradesh from two African nations, Namibia and South Africa.

The government's commitment to India-US ties was reaffirmed by Prime Minister Modi, and he received birthday wishes from President Donald Trump.

In a move to empower individuals based on their skills, the government launched the Vishwakarma Yojana last year. This initiative targets members of backward communities, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, women, and other weaker sections, aiming to empower blacksmiths, goldsmiths, potters, carpenters, sculptors, and others with marketable skills.

Uttar Pradesh has announced that all primary schools will function on a Sunday to celebrate Prime Minister Modi's birthday.

The year before, the government launched the Vishwakarma Yojana, aiming to boost the skills of various artisans and craftsmen, and the PM MITRA parks are set to do the same for the textile industry.

These initiatives by the Indian government are a testament to its commitment to economic growth, job creation, and the well-being of its citizens.
