Netskope Fortifies Universal Zero Trust Network Access for Modern Hybrid Enterprises
Netskope has bolstered its Universal Zero Trust Network Access (UZTNA) solution, offering a scalable alternative to outdated security measures like VPNs, NACs, and VDI. This upgrade caters to the needs of modern hybrid enterprises, safeguarding users and IoT/OT devices across diverse environments.
The enhanced UZTNA solution goes beyond core use cases, providing deeper threat inspection and securing diverse device ecosystems. It features built-in, context-aware device intelligence for IoT/OT devices that can't run agent software.
The solution inspects private app traffic, both remote and local, with advanced threat protection and DLP engines. It extends remediation and access control to the east-west plane via integrations with leading third-party NAC vendors. Additionally, it enables access to private applications in branch networks by hosting the ZTNA publisher directly on the 5G Netskope One Gateway. The solution also includes AI-powered policy optimization with Copilot for automated granular policy creation.
John Martin, Chief Product Officer at Netskope, noted that legacy VPNs, NACs, and early ZTNA tools are not equipped to handle the scale, speed, or diversity of today's enterprises.
Netskope's enhanced UZTNA solution provides a scalable framework for retiring or reducing reliance on outdated products. It secures users and IoT/OT devices, offering a consistent user experience regardless of location. The solution's advanced features and integrations make it a robust choice for modern hybrid enterprises.
