New Aktobe Hub to Boost Kazakhstan-Turkey Trade and Transit
A new transport and logistics hub is set to open in Aktobe, aiming to enhance Kazakhstan's transit potential and strengthen ties between Kazakh and Turkish businesses. The hub, a joint venture between 'Kazpost' and the Turkish logistics company S Sistem, is expected to be commissioned in the second half of next year.
The hub is being constructed at Aktobe airport and is expected to facilitate smoother and more efficient transportation and logistics services. Despite the lack of a named joint venture between Samruk-Kazyna JSC and S Sistem, the project is moving forward with the shared goal of realizing Kazakhstan's transit potential.
The hub is set to open amidst growing interest in improving relations between Kazakh and Turkish businesses. It is hoped that the new facility will provide a significant boost to trade and commerce between the two countries.
